VERSENY KIÍRÁS
A verseny célja
A verseny célja az otthoni sörfőzés népszerűsítése, a házisörfőzők személyes találkozására nyíló alkalom megteremtése.
A verseny főszervezője
Első Magyar Házisörfőző Egyesület (továbbiakban a Szervezők).
Dátumok, határidők, helyszínek
- A verseny napja: 2026. május 30.
- A verseny helyszíne: Mad Scientist és Horizont Sörfőzde 1106 Budapest, Maglódi út 47. (Főzdepark)
- Nevezési határidők:
- Csak Elsősör egyesületi tagoknak: 2026. február 22. 11:00 (CET) - 2026. február 28. 11:00 (CET)
- Mindenki másnak: 2026. március 1. 11:00 (CET) - 2026. május 1. 11:00 (CET)
- Leadási határidők: 2026. május 15. 10:00 (CET) - 2026. május 27. 17:00 (CET)

Általános verseny szabályok
- A BJCP2021-ben (Beer Judge Certification Program) található összes stílusban lehet nevezni.
(Kivéve: cider és mead) A jelentkezéskor meg kell adni a sör pontos stílusát, továbbá szükség
esetén egyes stílusoknál kiegészítő információkat (pl. milyen ízesítés).
A bírák minden egyes nevezett sört az adott BJCP kategóriának megfelelően pontoznak le,
tehát nem a különböző nevezett sörök egymáshoz hasonlítása határozza meg a pontszámot.
- A Szervezők a különböző BJCP által meghatározott stílusokat előre meghirdetett konszolidált
kategóriákba sorolják. Ennek a besorolásnak a kategória helyezéseknél lesz jelentősége,
a bírálatokat továbbra is a nevező által megadott BJCP stílusoknak megfelelően zajlanak, tehát
NEM a söröket egymással összehasonlítva. A stílus kategória besorolásokat lásd a kiírás végén.
- A szervezők fenntartják a jogot, hogy az előre meghirdetett konszolidált kategóriák
összeállításán változtassanak amennyiben a nevezett sörök eloszlása valamely konszolidált
kategóriá(k)ban szélsőségesen sok vagy kevés. Ekkor vagy konszolidált kategória összevonás
vagy adott esetben egy további konszolidált kategóriára való szétbontás is előfordulhat.
- A sörök elbírálása a BJCP stílusnak megfelelő fogyasztási hőmérsékleten és a BJCP2021
alapján, azaz a nemzetközi norma szerint történik. A BJCP2021 magyar nyelvű fordítása az
egyesület honlapján megtalálható.

Bírálói jelentkezés minimum feltétele:
- Az Első Magyar Házisörfőző Egyesület által bármely korábban szervezett bírálói képzésen
való részvétel és sikeres vizsga megléte.

COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Purpose of the competition
The main purpose of the competition is to make homebrewing more popular and give an opportunity to meet personally to our community members.
Organizer of the competition
The main organizer of the competition is the First Hungarian Homebrewers Association (hereafter organizer)
Due dates and locations
- The day of the competititon: 30th May 2026.
- The location of the competition: Mad Scientist and Horizont Brewery – 1106 Budapest, Maglódi út 47., Hungary (Főzdepark)
- Entry registration deadlines:
- Only for the members of the First Hungarian Homebrewing Association: 22th February 2026 11:00am (CET) - 28th February 2026 11:00am (CET)
- For everyone else: 1th March 2026 11:00am (CET) - 1th May 2026 11:00am (CET)
- Drop off date: from 15th May 2026 10:00am (CET) - 27th May 2026 5:00pm (CET)
- Drop off location and postal address: Sörfőzők Boltja 2., 1163 Budapest, Kövirózsa utca 8/B, Hungary
- Entry modifications accepted even outside of the group up to: 1th May 2026 11:00am (CET)
- Entry modifications accepted only within the group up to: 14th May 2026 11:00am (CET)
General competition rules
- Entries accepted in all BJCP2021 styles (except mead and cider) At registration the entrant must specify the exact style of the entry and give other specifics as required by the given style (for example fruit type in a 29A Fruit beer). The judges will evaluate every entry against the BJCP style which was specified by the entrant. The final score of the entry will be based on the comparison to the style, and not to each other of the entries
- The different BJCP styles are organized into predefined consolidated groups. The grouping of the entries will be important at the ranking of the beers in the given group. Once again, the entries will be judged against the given BJCP style and not against each other. See the consolidated groups at the end of the competition notice.
- The organizers reserve the right to change the preliminary announced consolidated groups in case the balance of the entered beers will become exceptionally low or high in one or more consolidated groups. In such case the organizers will either merge some consolidated groups or split it out to more consolidated groups.
- The evaluation of the entries will happen at the recommended temperature of the given style by the BJCP2021, according to the international standards.

The minimum requirements to apply as a Judge:
- At least a passed exam on one of the judge education tranining organized by the First Hungarian
Homebrewing Association. (Of course this is not a requirement for BJCP judges)

A nevezés menete, szabályok
- A versenyre csak olyan sörrel lehet nevezni, ami nincs kereskedelmi forgalomban és otthoni
sörfőző eszközökkel készült.
- Minden nevezést a https://competition.elsosor.hu oldalon digitálisan rögzíteni kell.
- A verseny szervezői maximum 350 fizetett nevezést fogadnak el. A nevezés után érdemes
azonnal kifizetni a nevezést mert csak a fizetett nevezés számít érvényes nevezésnek, és az oldal a 350. fizetett nevezés után fogja automatikusan lezárni a további nevezési lehetőséget.
- A nevezési díjat csak PayPalon lehet kifizetni a https://competition.elsosor.hu oldalon a saját
nevezéseidnél. Készpénzt nem áll módunkban elfogadni.
- A nevezési díj nevezett sörönként 3000 Ft (7,5 EUR)+Paypal kezelési költség.
Az Első Magyar Házisörfőző Egyesület tagjainak kedvezményesen 2000 Ft (5 EUR)+Paypal kezelési költség.
- Egy versenyző egy adott BJCP stílusban csak 1 sört nevezhet, de összesen maximum 3
nevezése lehet. Ez a közösen főzőkre is érvényes!
- A BJCP stílusba sorolás a nevező feladata és felelőssége. Egyesületünktől legfeljebb jó
szándékú segítséget kaphat a kategorizálásban. (E-mail: competition@elsosor.hu) Ha valaki
nincs otthon az adott stílusban, a versenyig bőségesen van ideje a nyertes sör kikísérletezésére.
- A fentiek alapján tehát nagyon figyelni kell a nevezett sör helyes BJCP stílusba sorolására!
Rossz besorolás miatt kaphat nagyon alacsony pontszámokat egy egyébként remek sör.
Elfogadott kiszerelések és mennyiségek
- 3x0.5L vagy 5x0,33L – Koronazáras Üveg
- 3x0.5L vagy 5x0,33L – Csatos üveg
- 3x0.5L vagy 5x0,33L – Fémdoboz (Can)
- 3x0.5L – Barna színű Pet Palack
The way to register entries, rules
- Only such entries are accepted which were brewed using homebrewing equipment and not commercially produced or distributed at all.
- Each and every beer has to be registered at https://competition.elsosor.hu webpage
- The maximum amount of the paid entries to the competition is limited to 350. After you’ve registered your entry it is advisable to pay it immediately since only a paid entry is considered as a valid entry. The competition webpage will automatically close the registration after the 350th paid entry.
- The entry fee can be paid only through PayPal at the https://competition.elsosor.hu webpage right at your entries. No Cash will be accepted.
- One entrant is allowed to register a maximum of 1 beer per BJCP style. One entrant is allowed to have a maximum of 3 entries registered to the competition. This is also valid for those who have entered their beers as a group.
- The entry fee per beer is 3000 HUF (7,5 EUR)+Paypal handling fee. Discounted entry fee per beer for the members of the First Hungarian Homebrewing Association is 2000 HUF (5 EUR)+Paypal handling fee
- It’s the duty and responsibility of the entrant to choose the correct style. You can expect some level of support from the association in case you need help choosing the right style. (E-mail:
competition@elsosor.hu) If you are not experienced in the chosen style you have plenty of time
to practice.
- Based on the above, it’s very important to give attention to choose the correct style of the entry. If the entry is registered to an incorrect style it can lead to low scores even if it’s a very tasty and balanced beer.

- 3x0.5L or 5x0,33L – Normal Cap close glass bottles
- 3x0.5L or 5x0,33L – Buckled bottles
- 3x0.5L or 5x0,33L – Can
- 3x0.5L – Brown Color Plastic (PET) bottles
